Hi gang,

A couple of us had mentioned at the last meeting that we wanted to participate in an independent study course with the "esteemable one," Professor Blanchette ;)

We had discussed creating an informatics web site (or addition to the department's site) highlighting informatics issues, resources, etc. The goal is to design an independent study course that will produce both a

communication tool for informatics students/budding professionals/seasoned professionals and clearly outline/measure learning objectives for those students involved in the project.

(I may be leaving something good out from last meeting's discussion, so please piggy back on to this post with anything helpful)

Anyways, I'd like to call a short meeting for anyone interested in participating in this project the first week of April. It will be so painless, it might even be fun!!! I'm proposing 12:30-1:00 on Tuesday,

April 4th, right after Ethics. Let me know what y'all think.
